Alfa Romeo Carabo / 1968

The wedge that started it all. While other vehicles preceding the Carabo had been hinting at the shape of things to come, the debut of the Carabo at the 1968 heralded the arrival of true geometric wedge design. Based on the Alfa 33 chassis, Gandini’s design under Bertone stunned the Turin motor show, heralding the birth of the wedge era.
